Delivery info & terms

Ordering & Dispatch

Our products are produced especially for your order.  Please allow up to 7 working days from ordering for us to dispatch your goods.  We will do our best to fulfil all orders, according to product availability.

 

We will contact you to advise the day of delivery, and if this is inconvenient for you, we will try to make alternative arrangements.  We cannot make deliveries on Sundays or Mondays.

 

Non UK Mainland Delivery Charges

Please note that the delivery charge of £8.75 covers UK mainland only.  Delivery to non-UK mainland destinations are charged at £25.00

 

We are unable to send goods beyond the UK.

Delivery

All orders are sent via overnight courier.  There must be someone to sign for your order.  Where possible, we would advise taking delivery at a business premises where someone will be available throughout working hours, or we can send goods to a neighbour.  It is not possible to give multiple alternatives for the delivery address. 

 

It is your responsibility to ensure that your requested delivery date is suitable for either yourself or your gift recipient to accept an order.

 

We cannot accept responsibility for addresses provided incorrectly.

 

Please note that our courier company requires the telephone number at the delivery address.

 

We cannot track the exact location of your order during the day, and delivery can be any time up until 6pm.

 

If you have ordered any of our cured/smoked fish, sausages or hampers, these items should be stored in the refrigerator, as per the instructions on the pack.

 

Complaints Procedure

It is your responsibility to check your order carefully on receipt of goods.  In the unlikely event of goods being unsatisfactory, damaged, or incomplete, you should accept delivery and contact us within 2 working days.

 

Nuts and Wheat

Our products are produced in an environment where nuts and wheat are used.

 

Cancellations and Returns

As our products are supplied fresh and produced to order, we regret that once an order is placed, it is not possible to cancel it and refunds cannot be given.  In the unlikely event of a product being unsatisfactory, please contact us immediately.

 

Product Availability

Our products are produced fresh, to order, and some of our items are supplied by small-scale, independent producers.  In the event of a product being temporarily unavailable, we will forward your main order, followed by the rest of your order as soon as possible.  There will be no extra charge for this service.  If, for reasons beyond our control, a product is unobtainable, we will contact you to arrange an alternative or refund, as soon as possible.
